Safaris to choose from

Most safaris start Roy's Lodge, to ensure total relaxation, before entering Africa. From Johannesburg International Airport we drive 35 minutes to our lodge, where you will enjoy a light meal, freshen up and start your safari with a tour of the Cullinan Diamond Mine (the world's largest diamond), Pretoria sites: Union Buildings, the inner city, Voortrekker Monument, Kruger House and the Jacarandas (if in season),

We return to Roy's Lodge for your first real African cuisine, overlooking the drinking hole at our Lodge. After dinner we enjoy coffee and tea relax ready to depart the next morning fresh and ready. Should you wish to depart straight on your tour please indicate.

Special notes:

  • Rates and fares are finalised when safari size is finalized e.g. 6 people may well pay less than 2 people would pay per day, as transport is shared and group accommodation might be cheaper. The basic rate is normally calculated on average sized groups.
  • Indicated rates are fully inclusive of: airport pick up on arrival, all transit fees, all accommodation - luxury en-suite, at least 2 full meals daily and free dinner wine and beverages in moderation (i.e. 2 beers or 2 glasses wine per person), air or road transport as per itinerary, guide on tour, park entry fees where indicated on receiving prices from lodges and parks, refreshments en route, and airport drop-off on completion of your tour.
  • Rate excludes: non-dinner alcohol & beverages, souvenirs, visas, passport and other unforeseen & private expenses.
  • Please take note of specific inclusions and exclusions on receipt of your final itinerary.
  • Specific lodges and accommodation be confirmed in your final itinerary.
  • Refer to our Safari Packages Number One to Number Five as a basis for structuring your own custom safari.
  • Deposits are not refundable, unless in extreme cases, and if our beneficiaries are willing to refund with minimum penalty of 50%
