Team building and facilitation is done under the wing of our Corporate Management Services (CMS) division. Roy's Lodge (CMS) is equipped for team building events, offering all sorts of exciting indoor and outdoor activities. Due to the specialised course design and quiet surroundings, this is an ideal venue for corporate events. Up to 300 delegates can be accommodated for day activities (non-sleep over). Conference accessories are available in the conference room with 24/7 free Internet access available. Our clients include the corporate market, government departments, school, sports and culture groups.

Our team building curriculum is designed on the client's requirement. This implies that prior to the event the company's specific requirement is discussed and determined (usually on the client's premises). The team building event and narratives are then drawn up to emphasise and demonstrate the discussed or the agreed criteria. The team building activities usually consist of the following dimensions:

  • Lecture room module - Welcoming, briefing and general orientation.
  • Ice-breaking module - Group activity in a game problem-solving form, to equalise members of the company.
  • Team building module - The low rope communication course, this is low risk all participants scenarios in the form of problem solving related to the company's environment. All these exercises are under the supervision of trained facilitators and instructors.
  • Fun/adventure activity - This is the reward for the company's staff and sometimes is combined with the above activities in order to achieve maximum results. These activities can range from game-viewing, abseiling, horse riding, booze-cruise, paintball, quizzes and so on. Excursions such as hunting, golf, cultural and social events are also presented.

On request, low and medium management level facilitating is conducted by the lodge, to meet your requirements.
Please note: Companies are welcome to bring their own facilitators and plan their own events.
